The Magnolia School is looking to hire an Registered Behavior Technician to work with children ages 3-14 in 1:1 and small group settings. This role will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement programming and intervention plans to support students who need additional services beyond the classroom. Supervision for aspiring BCBAs is available.
Job Specifications:
- implement prescribed learning plans for students by following written and oral instructions
- collect data for goals and objectives accurately
- ability to jump from one activity to the next
- ability to identify most urgent priority and do that first
- excellent oral communication skills
- excellent teamwork skills; working as part of a multi-disciplinary team is a big piece of this job
- RBT certification preferred but not required to start; you will be required to obtain your RBT certification upon hire.
The Magnolia School is a private school in Austin TX. We are located in the Lakeway suburbs of Austin. We serve students 3 years old through 8th grade. We offer 7 weeks of paid school closure time per year; 10 days of PTO accrual; health, dental, vision and supplemental insurances. Working hours between 8:00-5:00 M-F. All positions are salaried.
